We have given customers time since 1987. Over 30 years of experience has given us extensive experience and good expertise in cleaning. CityMaid is dependent on delivering quality in all our services.

We have departments in all the major cities in Norway; Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Stavanger, Drammen, Sarpsborg, Kristiansand and Sandefjord.

Our Employees

CityMaid has employees of various nationalities, and everyone can speak Norwegian or English. We have our own training programs that include both theoretical and practical training.

CityMaid over 200 employees, the majority of whom are service employees who clean customers' homes. Many of the service employees come from countries such as Lithuania or Poland. They must be able to make themselves understood in Norwegian or English - they receive training in the rest via our CityMaidskole.

Many of our employees use their job with us as a stepping stone to progress in their working life in Norway - something we are proud to be able to contribute to. We like to say that we do social jumping and not social dumping.

We ensure that our employees have safe workplaces and that they receive thorough training in the cleaning profession, both theoretically and practically. In addition, they get:

I have been with CityMaid for 13 years, starting my journey through an acquaintance already working here. I began as a service employee just months after completing my Bachelor's in Business Administration and Management, thinking it would be a short-term role. However, seven years flew by, and what kept me here was the sense of being valued; over time, my colleagues became like family.

CityMaid has continually supported my development. I had the opportunity to take two Norwegian language courses, followed by additional training at Folkeuniversitetet to improve my skills. In 2019, feeling the urge to grow further, I emailed my manager to express my ambitions. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and I soon became an operations consultant. Three years later, I was promoted to department head, a role for which I am incredibly grateful.

What I love most about working at CityMaid is the people. Each day brings new challenges, and I thrive on that. The company has provided me with room for both personal and professional growth; I can confidently say CityMaid is like my second family. The work environment is warm and inclusive, making each day enjoyable and productive. I've learned so much along the way.
